As part of our Global HR department we are looking for a Performance & Reward Specialist (M/F/D) to join our team in Pratteln (near Basel). At Clariant, performance and reward processes are key to attract, motivate and retain capable people. As an Expert in this field you will ensure our compensation schemes are attractive, fair, transparent and based on individual performance.


Responsibilities

  • You will take responsibility for global compensation processes such as:

    • Compensation Budget process

    • Salary Review process

    • Short Term Incentive Plans

    • Performance Management process


  • You will ensure the validity of our compensation strategy by conducting global benchmarking.

  • You will be engaged in the global grading process.

  • You support our global HR team and the business by developing and sharing process documentation, analysis & reporting, best practices and trainings.


Requirements

  • You will have gained 4 years of Compensation & Benefits experience in industry or a consultancy or you are currently a HR Generalist with experience working in the area of Compensation & Benefits.

  • Completed Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, HR, Mathematics or Psychology.

  • Expert level knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point is essential. Excellent assessment and data analysis skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as a member of the HR Team and collaborate effectively with external suppliers.

  • Self-starter to proactively identify opportunities and solutions.

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple tasks.

  • Comfortable in dealing with demanding stakeholders and tight deadlines.

  • Able to communicate fluently in English with other languages especially German beneficial.
