What's the role?


You partner with global business executives to translate business strategy into HR strategies and programs, drive the people strategy, organisational design as well as transformation and change processes. In addition, since the strategic HILTI target of 80% promotion from within demands excellent succession planning processes, capabilities in talent management and leadership development are a must.

What does the role involve?


In this role you lead, define and implement business transformation and change programs as well as organizational development with people implications like mergers & acquisition, joint ventures, ramping up new business units. To be successful in that role you need to partner with senior business leaders and the HR community to attract and hire talents ensuring current and future required competencies. You facilitate and lead talent, performance calibration and succession planning discussions with leadership teams. To contribute and accelerate our business objectives you launch strategic HR initiatives and act as challenging partner as well as coach for senior leaders. During this exciting global assignment in an innovation and technology driven environment you are a participating member of multiple senior leadership teams.

What you need is:



  • Master degree and relevant experience in an HR function (e.g. Business partner, Talent development)

  • Broad HR experience in an industrial environment across various business functions

  • Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration on all levels of the hierarchy

  • Analytical and conceptual skills coupled with a hands-on mentality and can-do attitude to get things done

  • Experience in working in a matrix environment

  • Excited to work in an international environment and are also willing to develop their career through opportunities offered across the global organisation
