Job Description

Here it is for the theory: As a Project manager, you will manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time within budget. You will execute your projects in accordance with MindMaze project management methodology developing and prioritizing tasks and resources, managing on going performance and post implementation evaluations. 

In practice: Reporting to the Head of Design and Development,  you will be the liaison between the team and the internal client and will “boss” projects and manage the people defining the “what” and giving support on the “how” if needed. As a senior project manager, you will not be the most important but the more responsible, ensuring the balance is kept between teams and doing what is good for MindMaze not what is most popular. The role is about removing roadblocks and making every day as efficient and productive as possible in an agile and fast growing environment. At last, you will have to centralise information, gather knowledge and know everything about everything that is going on, reporting value adding information to the top management.

At MindMaze, you will:

• Plan the roadmap with the technical/marketing/clinical team, manage projects and resources


• Participate in product design and architecture


• Plan / Prioritize improvements for the devices’ development


• Interface with our manufacturing partners for HW industrialization and Supply Chain integration


• Potentially interface with our external distributors for the deployment of special programs


• Produce the associated documentation (Requirements, Test plans, Test Reports, Call center, Product Training, Assembly, Delivery procedures…)


• Organize the delivery and training in rehabilitation centers


• Meet with the client team , gather requirements, conduct regular meetings and track project progress


• Follow up and ensure deadlines and budget constraints are met and take corrective actions as necessary


• Ensure close relationship with the key internal leads to validate the scope and direction of the project 


• Extract, compile and present information to facilitate decision making by key stakeholders

You are an exceptional project manager with an in depth knowledge of project management and extraordinary skills including strategic planning, analysis of business activities and  goals setting and last but not least, outstanding communication skills

You are a leader and know how to keep the teammates motivated, resolve conflict and make hard decisions with empathy and focus on critical success factors of your team members

You are a master in doing the right thing through optimal Planning, Time management and Prioritization.  We are talking proper planning from meta to micro which means you are always ahead and know what’s next whether it is success or disaster. Eisenhower’s prioritisation matrix mapping is one of your key tools : “ What is important is seldom urgent and what is urgent is seldom important”. 

You have to be confident in budgeting and know where the company money is going as if it was yours

You are able to identify risks before they become issues and have effective mitigation plans up your sleeve 

Your middle name is “negotiator”: you can find middle-ground, working out compromises so everyone that matters feels like they have won

Also, we expect you to: 

• Have a proven track of project management in the last 10 years


• Have worked in agile projects


• Be fluent orally and in writing both in English and French


• Have experience in the Healthcare industry


• Have experience in Startups (would be a plus)


• Have some experience in manufacturing and distribution


• Have a Master level in Software or Hardware Engineering


• Know what it means to work in a regulated industry


• Know the entire product development process from the concept phase through development, regulatory approval, production setup and launch


• Be a skilled leader of cross functional teams with specialists and highly skilled employees
