Job Description:
Evolva is looking for an experienced Project Manager Operations with engineer background to
coordinate, support and ensure timely execution of projects in operations at the Company’s
headquarters. This primarily regards monitoring of transfer of technologies from lab and pilot plant
to manufacturing scale at Evolva’s manufacturing partners, evaluation of potential CMOs and
prepare process documentation and supports technology transfer.
Engineering and operational expertise is expected. Knowledge and experience of the manufacturing
process of high value specialty ingredients by fermentation is certainly of advantage for this
position.
Specific responsibilities:
Act as technical liaison with the Company’s CMOs to insure smooth, safely and on time
manufacturing process of top quality products
Establish routine communications with CMOs and required Evolva personnel and facilitate
and document the discussions and follow up actions that are required
Optimizing and maintaining fermentation and purification principles for manufacturing
processes. Ensure that the translation of Evolva processes developed at Lab/Pilot scale are
properly laid out and adjusted to fit commercial scale facility
Monitor and ensure timely execution of various projects in manufacturing, supply chain and
quality control
Ideal candidate possesses:
BSc/MSc/Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering or related field
3 - 6 years of experience developing and/or operating fermentation/DSP/biotech and
related manufacturing processes
Project Management skills
Very good command of English and outstanding skills in preparing presentations
Experience and understanding of the needs and culture of a dynamic young entrepreneurial
company with a very flat organizational structure designed to be results driven
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environment and switch between various players
