We do everything from scalable client-specific and secure back-end code, to the integration of legacy services, to visually stunning front-ends. As a Visual and Interaction Designer, you will work on design projects together with a team of Appway user experience designers, product managers and technical experts. Your role will be to transform high-level concepts into pixel-perfect designs. You’ll create everything from simple vector icons to full-fledged mockups of entire application screens.

You are highly creative and capable of consistently producing coherent and beautiful graphic content across a variety of design streams, spanning multiple product areas and releases.
You are a passionate designer, keen to support design iterations with UX designers, product managers and engineers from early concepts and prototypes to final production.
You know your vectors from your pixels, and you are able to work with both.
You understand both business language and that of the technological world.
You have a design school background or learned how to achieve balance in typography, color and layout.
You are a good communicator and can clearly articulate your ideas verbally, in written, as well as by sketching them on paper or digitally.
Taking up new design challenges motivates you.
You are a team player; you see problems as challenges, not obstacles, and enjoy overcoming them.

Then, you are responsible for...
Working as integral part of a team of UX and visual designers responsible for the design of the Appway Platform and other products in our portfolio.
Participating in design activities related to the Appway Design System, such as creating and maintaining UI libraries, designing icon sets, creating mockups and prototypes, or doing user research.
Supporting product managers with design activities related to product marketing and sales.
Evangelizing design inside and outside the Appway Platform team.
And You have...
A Creative Portfolio showcasing design capabilities and process.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch are mandatory; knowledge of Framer and Figma are a plus.
Systems and analytic thinking.
Expert command of English.
Capacity to quickly delve into and become productive working with new tools and platforms.
Lack of fear to look beneath the surface of the user interface to see how things are done.
You are optionally good at...
German, French and Italian (an additional language).
Understanding the web technologies (GUI, HTML, CSS, Java Script).
Knowledge of general UX concepts such as Personas, User Journey, User testing, etc.
