In this role you will drive Innovation and Business Development initiatives, providing problem solving and analytics as well as participating in projects to better serve the customer in an innovative manner. You will be part of an award winning, dynamic team, where you can make the difference.

 
Your Role
 

As an Innovation Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Contributing to the Innovation Strategy 2.0

  • Structuring analysis to address specific business problems and building models to support analysis

  • Assisting in monitoring/reviewing of Innovation initiatives, quantifying their impact

  • Contributing to valuation and measurement of key projects/initiatives

  • Preparing for operating reviews (analyses, content creation, and logistics/administration)

  • Developing written communication to convey preliminary analyses and insights

  • Contributing to the development and refinement of Innovation and Business Development projects

  • Driving innovation events, such as HackZurich and the Innovation Championship


 
Your Skills and Experience  

As an Analyst – Innovation and Business Development your skills and qualifications will ideally include:



  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required and an MBA degree is strongly preferred

  • Several years (3-4 years) of experience in strategic consulting (external or internal) or project management within a sizeable financial services company

  • Experience working collaboratively, cross-functionally and globally with strategy units and line management

  • International work or study experience

  • Result-oriented, but overall a team player

  • Bright, motivated and self-starter with good strategic mind and strong macro-economic groundings, able to understand and interpret the underlying trends occurring in the marketplace

  • Ability to work on an autonomous basis with a good global view and strategic vision as well as demonstrated capacity of rolling up his/her sleeves and get into the details of the analysis

  • High degree of integrity, responsiveness and confidentiality

  • Ability to build relationships and a trusted network

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress

  • Profound skills in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong writing and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Fluency in English

    
Additional Information  

Primary work location is Zürich. There are some travel requirements.
