YOUR CHALLENGE
The Implantable & Diagnostics team is part of the CRHF (Cardiac Rhythm Heart Failure) Business unit and works within a growing and innovative market of arrhythmia management. To strengthen this team we are looking for a Sales Representative covering the Region of Bern. You will focus Electrophysiologist, Cardiologist and Hospital administration. Motivating peers within Medtronic and pioneers in the marketplace is key.
OUR OFFER
We offer you a position where you are responsible for maintaining and developing the Implantable business with existing and new customers in your sales territory. It will be your job to meet (or preferably exceed) financial and non-financial targets in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market. In this commercial position you will fulfill a number of tasks in the field of sales management, ranging from market analyses and developing sales strategies to performing sales activities such as product introductions and support technical procedures when necessary. You will identify and address all key decision makers, opinion leaders and referrals, extend existing accounts and develop entirely new ones. Building strong and lasting business relationships is another important task. Just as identifying and preparing upcoming tenders, market trends and competitor’s information. Furthermore it will be your responsibility to train and educate relevant hospital staff, and to maintain and acquire knowledge on new product, technologies, markets, sales tools and processes. YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or Biology
Minimum of 5 years sales experience within the medical device industry
Cath Lab experience or equivalent (2-5 years; Interventional Cardiology or Electrophysiology)
Thorough knowledge of the Cardio-Vascular, preferably the Electrophysiology marketplace
Experience in training others
Fluency in German and preferably English
