Location: Zurich, Switzerland

We are looking for an intern for our growing M&A and Equity/Debt Capital Markets (ECM/DCM) advisory team in Zurich for the duration of six months with the opportunity to join our team full-time upon successful completion of the internship.


Your internship


During your internship, you will receive guidance and training in all technical aspects of our business and work alongside our global and local product, industry, and country experts on M&A as well as capital market transactions for major Swiss clients across industries. In our challenging and fast-paced environment, strong quantitative and numerical as well as creative problem-solving skills are key to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients. In addition, you will need good communication and presentation skills, a high level of motivation, a fascination for finance plus a collaborative approach to working.


Corporate Finance provides the full range of investment banking products and services for our clients, including financial advisory in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Equity and Debt Capital Market transactions, such as IPOs and bond offerings.


Your responsibilities


As part of your role, you will participate in the preparation of client and marketing presentations as well as in the execution of M&A and ECM transactions. You will work on a broad spectrum of corporate finance topics, including the analysis of companies’ strategic and financial profiles as well as in-depth industry research and valuation work.

Your qualifications



  • Must be studying towards a bachelor’s or mas­ter’s degree at a leading Swiss university, ideally in finance or economics

  • Previous work experience in finance or (investment) banking is an asset

  • Good understanding of the finance industry as well as current business/economic environment

  • Strong numerical skills, quick and ambitious learner

  • High degree of professionalism as well as strong drive and commitment

  • Ability to work under pressure in a vibrant environment and dealing with multiple requests at the same time

  • Good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Fluent in English and German

  • Keen interest in the Swiss corporate and financial institutions landscape as well as willingness to develop a long-term career in Switzerland
