Position Overview


Mission - Acquire new clients, retain existing ones and increase Bank’s share of their assets for the German Market, with a strong focus on the UHNWI segment.

- Develop a strong network and pipeline for acquisition


- Development of the German market area for potential and existing clients


- All tasks hereunder


  


Tasks
Continuous Market Analysis

 Assess market potential both for existing and potential clients for the German region:



  • Carry out market analysis with regular re-assessment of market potential


Develop business plans for dedicated geographical area



  • Define target groups and sub-segmentation

  • Define multipliers (for referrals)


Select prospects in dedicated market



  • Analyse existing clients on further business potential with existing assets (improve profitability of existing “share of wallet”)

  • Pro-actively engage with clients to attract more of their bankable assets (increase “share of wallet”)


 


Client acquisition

-     Develop contact / build relationships with UHNWI clients, Single/Multi Family           Offices and Foundations



  • Gather individual information about prospects and prepare calls / visits

  • Call / meet potential clients and explain DB entity, services & products and unique value proposition

  • Use internal network/DP top management in order to contact prospects

  • Actively network multipliers

  • Ensure structured reporting on progress of relationship with potential clients

  • Active pipeline management


 


Identify needs and tailor DB service:



  • Complete client profile

  • Process account opening forms and documentation

  • Actively offer all products and services contained in Wealth Management product catalogue (including alternative investment) according to the applicable cross-border regulations

  • Select products and write proposals with input from Investment Manager

  • Use of specialists to deliver best investment capabilities


 


Participate in PR and other marketing activities for new clients:


-    Send information to clients (mailings)



  • Hold presentations for existing and potential client groups

  • Participate in social events (sporting events, conferences, Chamber of Commerce meetings, etc.)


 Existing Client Relationship Management


 Initiate and assist with non-banking services required by clients (hotel, car, business information, visas, etc)


Identify other WM Centres which could service client (one bank)


Handle client complaints


Ensure all client queries / requests are answered promptly


Update all call / meeting reports for client contacts


Cooperation with Account Manager on following:



  • Identification of investment opportunities

  • Keep up-to-date on important market information

  • Discuss needs with Account Manager / investment Centre

  • Ensure all investments correspond to client investment policy

  • Review portfolio performance

  • Reporting to client


 Compliance


The business has to be run in a well controlled framework. Observe all internal and external compliance regulations (notably, ensuring that « know your client » principles are observed under all circumstances, correct account opening forms are used by RMs and suspected money laundering cases are reported to Compliance Officer (see Guidelines)
