For our Business Unit High Voltage Products, we are looking for a Senior IoT Expert R&D. In this challenging position you are responsible to identify, propose, develop and implement innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for Surge Arresters, Capacitors & Filters and Cable Accessories worldwide.

- Identify relevant Internet of Things technologies and develop them for the Global Product Group High Voltage Components
- Coordinate IoT technology projects with Power Grids Research Center
- Lead IoT developments for the Global Product Group High Voltage Components where innovative solutions and new business models can lead to greater market share and/or new market opportunities
- Work closely with product group cross functional teams located across geographical regions
- Actively engage with global market and industry representatives as well as IoT start-ups to ensure market trends are noted and where applicable identify future technology and product development opportunities
- Ensure alignment with assigned project development targets (time, cost, quality) and coordinate with the project team involved in specific R&D activities
- Investigate and resolve reported problems on developed products and ensure efficient customer support
- Identify new ideas and proposals for potential patenting in the field of IoT
- Ensure that best practice developments are shared between the relevant technology centers
- Master degree or higher, preferably in engineering or corresponding area
- At least 3-5 years’ experience with research & development project management in a multicultural environment
- Deep understanding of wireless IoT solutions such as LoRaWAN, SigFox, Narrow Band IoT, etc…
- Competences in embedded software and hardware development
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Cultural awareness, social, networking, and good communication skills
- Strategic thinking, stress-tolerant, willingness to travel, change-oriented, customer focus
