Senior Full Stack Developer


We are looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers to join our growing product team in our Zürich office. This role is a unique opportunity to work with an international team applying best engineering practices and building a market leading real-estate platform. Who you are


We want to develop amazing products fast and in high quality. You will join a  cross-functional team partnering with product owners, UX Researchers, Engineers, Designers, UX Writers to develop products from concept to launch.


Our technical stack is based mostly on node.js on the backend and react on the frontend. We are working with Redux, git, AWS and K8s.



  • Design and implement RESTful APIs

  • Build and deploy performant modern web applications in React

  • Architect efficient and scalable backend systems

  • Write unit, functional and end-to-end tests

  • Write high-quality code (node.js) that communicates with upstream backend services via HTTP APIs

  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues

  • Participate in code reviews


  


What skills you need




    • Strong Javascript knowledge especially in React / Redux



 



  • Ideally fluency in node.js or fluency in at least one other programming language and a willingness to learn node.js (we would prefer Ruby, golang, Java or similar).


 



  • Strong git knowledge

  • Functional programming knowledge

  • Experience working with AWS services desirable



  • Experience with continuous integration, unit- and integration-testing



  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams
