Particularités

  • The Research Promotion Service (SPR) supports researchers, principally at the University of Fribourg, to obtain competitive funding such as, but not limited to, Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).

  • The Service does so by counseling and supporting researchers in making successful bids for research, innovation and education projects.

  • A number of these support activities will be transferred to an internal IT infrastructure.


Domaine d'activités



  • The main responsibility of the project leader sought is, in collaboration with the University IT services who are likely to manage the development, to handle all aspects of this transition.

  • As such, the project leader will represent the users e.g. SPR, researchers and other stakeholders.

  • To this end, you use your proven abilities in digitization of human processes, ideally through such automation projects at another Swiss university or through implementing commercial academic Researcher Information Systems e.g. PURE, symplectic.

  • Thanks in part to your excellent English and French communication skills, as well as ideally your German, you quickly and fully appreciate user needs.

  • Given your strong analytical competence, you orchestrate ergonomic IT that provides genuine value to users.


Exigences



  • You use your proven abilities in digitization of human processes, ideally through such automation projects at another Swiss university or through implementing commercial academic Researcher Information Systems e.g. PURE, symplectic.

  • Thanks in part to your excellent English and French communication skills, as well as ideally your German, you quickly and fully appreciate user needs.

  • Given your strong analytical competence, you orchestrate ergonomic IT that provides genuine value to users.

  • You have at least 5 years research administration experience, preferably in academia and better still in a Grants Office; during this time, you have personally contributed to obtaining funding from SNSF or other relevant agencies and managed the related projects.

  • You are also willing to take on other Grants Office projects and team member replacements.
