EF Education First has an immediate opening for aSolution Architecton the EF International Language Campuses technology team. You will be in-chargefor thearchitecturedesign, evolution and maintenancein ourEnterprise Core Systems that support Sales and Production, joining a new team that EF is setting up in our beautiful headquarter in Zürich.
As we arebuilding uptheteam, inthis early stage your role will include collaborating with ourbusiness line to understand the requirements and the implications within the systems that you are going to model. You will participate to the creation ofproof-of-conceptsand you will be oftenworking hands-on with local and remote development teams tokickstartprojectsand coach team members.
Thisrole includes 30% of hands-onactivitiesand you willbe implementing solutions, not just advising. You will work closely with software engineers, analyzing software designs and implementations in order to proactively identify and fix architecture flaws and vulnerabilities.
Your colleagues are part ofmultipleagile development teams in Zurich andyou will ofteninteract with other development teams around the world. Somelimited travelwill be part of your duties.
Asafoundation of yourskills,you have a strong OOD background in .NET, JAVA orJavaScript/Node and experience working across the full stack in large and complex enterprise systems. You have apassion for elegant technology and design and the ability to lead & motivate developers while at the same time being an expert coder.
