Department of International Business has the following organizational units: the International Management Institute, the Center for Corporate Responsibility, and the Center for International Industrial Competitiveness. Furthermore, the department is responsible for the school’s internationalization activities and the strengthening of its networks of leading universities and companies worldwide.



Since the current holder of this position has been appointed President at another higher education institution, we are looking for a newDirector, Department of International Business (80 - 100%)In this key position, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the department. You will head the strategic development of the department in all four performance areas: degree programs, research, continuing education, and services. In particular, you will also have representational and networking duties, within the university as well as outside at both a national and especially an international level. As a member of the Executive Board, you will take an active role in the advancement of the School of Management and Law.We are looking for someone with a communicative personality and good integration skills who has extensive proven, international research and leadership experience. You are a recognized expert in the field of business management, able to think and act as an entrepreneur, and familiar with the university landscape. In addition, your profile includes the ability to network internationally with universities and companies. You should also have above-average performance as a lecturer in degree programs and as a researcher. You have already successfully raised third-party funds for long-term research projects.



In this challenging leadership role, we expect you to have a doctoral degree. In addition, you should have sound knowledge in strategic and operational management as well as in the personnel and financial management of a large organizational unit. The title of Professor may be conferred on a suitably qualified candidate.Do you have any questions?
