Kopter Group AG specializes in the development, production, commercialization and support of a new generation of helicopters. It is based in the Zurich region and currently employs 250 people. Its first model, the single turbine SH09, offers the highest standards of safety, comfort and performance, coupled with low operating costs. Additionally, it provides the largest cabin/cargo volumes, outstanding modularity and the latest generation of electronic systems. Built for the most demanding missions, the SH09 helicopter is generating an excellent market response.


Your responsibilities



  • Design, modification and maintenance of the toolings, JIGs, fixtures and moldings for the production of aeronautical composite parts and assemblies

  • Performing tolerance analyses / tolerance simulation in composite and metal structure

  • Make a contribution regarding development of assembly concepts and design for manufacturing

  • Drawing up of interface control documents/drawings

  • Development of manufacturing plans and industrial process flowcharts

  • Preparation of concept designs as basis for decision making for feasibility studies as well as the dimensioning above mentioned hardware

  • Support production regarding product quality monitoring

  • You are part of the Manufacturing Engineering team and work closely together with the product development departments and production


Your qualifications



  • At least 5 years’ experience in tolerance calculation for composite assemblies

  • Deep knowledge in composite manufacturing processes

  • Deep knowledge in composite assembly processes

  • Familiar with Siemens NX and Teamcenter

  • Good team player with very good communication skills

  • Experience in statistics and stochastics

  • German and English skills (speaking and writing)

  • Experience in measuring technologies

  • Familiar with lean production, design for manufacturing and continues improvement theories
