As a Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals Sales specialist, you act as intelligent filter of market information, providing trading and hedging recommendations to UBS Global Wealth Management (GWM) Client Advisors and their clients who either invest into the FX/PM markets or reduce their FX/PM exposure. As FX/PM Sales advisor you also facilitate product recommendations for clients who seek high returns by investing into FX/PM as a separate asset class.
The role as FX/PM Sales specialist also include the following specific working tasks:
• Support in developing and distribute FX/PM solutions across UBS GWM Switzerland, Europe, Latam, and Middle East
• Provide relevant advise to support Client Advisor and clients navigate FX/PM markets and achieve their investment goals
• Proactively foster the FX/PM offering and create investment, hedging and trading solutions based on individual needs and risk profile
• Monitor client FX/PM exposure, including FX/PM Derivative lifecycle management and deliver respective aftersales service
• Participate and present at internal Sales & Acquisition sessions as well as at client meetings
• Facilitate training and education sessions on FX/PM products for Client Advisor and clients
Your team:
You will be working in the FX Sales team for Client Advisor in Geneva within GWM`s Sector of the Investment Platforms & Services Global Capital Market (IPS GCM FX).
Your expertise:
• a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with a focus on mathematics, finance, economics or similar
• a strong sales affinity and ideally some working experience in FX/PM
• a strong interest in financial markets and capability to pick up things rapidly
• good numeric skills, knowledge of micro- and macroeconomics
• a good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA
• an accurate way of preparing Sales presentations and documents
• excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work under pressure
• proactive, flexible, highly reliable and team player
• persuasive, able to build up a long-lasting work relationships
• fluent in French and any additional language skills are highly desired
• analytical and a great problem-solver
