Training & Education Manager - SPECIALISED GROUPS – CRANIAL & ENT
A Day in the Life

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Reporting to the RTG Training & Education Director, you will be working within the T&E team, and collaborate primarily with business and marketing functions and T&E Coordinators. You will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and execution of external medical programs for the specialty groups of PAIN, Ear Nose &Throat (ENT), and Pelvic Health businesses.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Medical Education strategy with business partners, in alignment with needs, and translate Medical Education Strategy into programs.
Gain business buy-in on plans & program, build annual T&E operating plan and secure funding through annual operating plan process (AOP).
Manage business unit T&E budget for EMEA while ensuring cost management in line with business guidelines and providing accurate spend forecast to Finance and Business Leads.
Collaborate with key internal and external partners including Program Course Directors, Faculty, Scientific Societies, Regional and Country Marketing and Business Unit (BU), EU IMPACT team, training centers:
To assess needs for target audience and define clear learning objectives with faculty
To design learning paths, content, curriculum develop and deploy blended learning programs according to learning objectives.
To measure impact of training programs through adoption and other metrics, while identifying opportunities to improve learning experience and make relevant improvements.
Identify and develop cross business T&E opportunities & synergies to leverage training platforms, channels, resources and expertise i.e. collaboration within RTG business around procedural solutions, and other businesses
Engage with strategic training partners such as medical societies to develop opportunities for continued medical education that supports business strategy.
Be course captain and accountable for the execution of all aspects of the course including on-site scientific and lab sessions.
Partner with and supervise Medical education coordinators to plan, communicate, and support general logistics and cadaver lab logistic and execution of T&E programs in compliance with business process.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND PERSONALITY TRAITS JOB QUALIFICATIONS
At least 4 years of experience within medical education field and additional 4 to 5 years in sales/marketing position.
Experience in developing and deploying medical education programs
Experience in KOL (Key Opinion Leader) management
Experience in designing learning objectives and assessing learning outcomes
Experience in project management, and multiple stakeholder engagement
Experience working in the field of SPINE is a must
