Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of global go-to-market strategies for commercialized Biosimilars products, serving as the Global Brand Lead.
This person will be responsible for generating differentiated and impactful strategies that enable Biogen to achieve market-leading shares of patient and value flows across current and new geographic territories (>25 countries). This includes defining the global brand strategy, identifying deep customer insights, developing and ensuring rollout of creative global marketing campaigns, leading lifecycle management initiatives with our alliance partners, executing KOL strategies, supporting PAN-EU congress activities, and will contribute to above-brand initiatives to help ensure continuous capability building of marketing excellence within our affiliates.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Head of BBU Marketing and working within a matrix environment, this individual must be adept at multi-tasking and possess an entrepreneurial spirit as they will lead several projects and closely collaborate on multiple biosimilar brands with key cross functional partners (Medical, Market Access and Operations) and country affiliates.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Brand Marketing Strategy and Brand Team Leadership.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of global brand position and strategy in alignment with brand team and with regards to market specific dynamics for all current and future markets
2. Marketing Execution
Responsible for the creation, oversight and accountability for all cross-functional regional-led activities brand tactics, messages and materials. This includes but is not limited to multiple agency management to ensure strongly differentiated and highly impactful brand materials are developed, reapplied deployed across active markets
3. Build a pipeline of relevant innovation which reflects deep customer and market understanding for the brand reflecting changing needs of key customers (including LCM, claims, packaging improvements).
4. Develop, track and be responsible for key performance metrics for specific tactics
Qualifications
• At least 15 years of commercial and marketing experience in the healthcare industry
• Proven record of in-line Healthcare marketing success in heavily competitive segments; biologics experience is preferred but not required
• Strong digital/multichannel marketing experience
• Strategic acumen, creative problem solving and mental agility
• Demonstrated success in influencing leadership
• Inclusive approach, superior relationship building and cross-functional teamwork skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Excellent communication/coordination/interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to professionals at all levels within BIIB and amongst our customer base.
• Previous Sales experience from a major EU5 market is preferred
• Languages: English fluent, French or Spanish would be a strong plus
Education
Bachelor or Master degree
MBA preferred
