Your day to day

Join us as a Restaurant Host M/F :


Your main responsibilities will be to :



  • Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their seats according to our Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Provide Menus and introduce the guests to their waiter.

  • Ensure that guests enjoy an excellent experience at our restaurant.

  • Manage bookings in advance and as they arrive at the restaurant.

  • Answer incoming calls and address customer’s queries according to our Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Assist the waiters in the service, when needed.

What we need from you

With a Hospitality Degree, you have at least 2 years of experience as a host/hostess or waiter/waitress in a hotel restaurant of the same category and capacity (4- to 5-star hotels, more than 250 rooms/covers). You previously worked in an international and multi-cultural environment. You are familiar with the restaurant etiquette and you have experience in managing reservations.   


You are fluent in English and French. Mastering a third foreign language of one of our target markets (Germany, China, India, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Spain, Russia) is highly desirable. Knowledge of Simphony is a plus.


As the first point of contact for our guests, you have an excellent presentation and excellent communication skills (via phone or in-person). You demonstrate strong customer-service skills. Thanks to your strong organizational skills, you are able to monitor the entire dining area. Your ability to work efficiently helps you to provide a smooth and personalized service to our guests even under pressure. As a reliable team player, you are acknowledged for your positive and genuine attitude. Passionate by hospitality and catering, you like to share your knowledge with our guests and your colleagues. You are able to walk and stand during an entire shift. You are willing to work different shifts as needed.


The position is opened to Swiss citizens and EU passport holders.
