We are currently looking for a: Clinical Data Manager We don’t just want any Manager, here is our checklist: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Life Science Solid understanding of clinical trials methodology - terminology and substantial experience as Clinical Data Manager in the Life Science industry Good experience overseeing Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) data management activities, timelines and budget Good knowledge of data management tasks, Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) implementation Familiar with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system Knowledge in GDPR related activities such as the Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) SAS programming experience is an asset Fluent in both written and oral English. If you are also detail and customer oriented, with strong business acumen, communicating solutions, a team player comfortable with different external and internal stakeholders and management, while collaborating on different projects and continuously learning in a changing environment, you are the one we want for our Data Management and Systems Team, in Philip Morris Products S.A., Science and Innovation, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. As the Clinical Data Manager you will be in charge of overseeing data management activities in the context of clinical studies conducted by Philip Morris International (PMI) and act as the Data Privacy Lead for the department. Specific responsibilities include: Oversee and monitor the CROs data management activities from study set-up to database lock: design and review the electronic Case Report Form (eCRF), review the Data Management Plan and Data Validation Specifications, manage electronic data transfers between third parties and coordinate internal data review meetings Ensure the compliance of the study database with PMI Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium standards (CDISC) and SDTM submission package requirements Develop internal processes and standards for data acquisition, data management and SDTM mapping Act as the main point of contact with the CROs Data Manager and the clinical study team. Drive the implementation of local components of the Global Privacy Program (GPP) and the embedding of privacy for the Clinical Science and Epidemiology department Monitor data privacy compliance, ensure inventory of data processing activities, give guidance on privacy obligations, perform training on data privacy awareness, support the review of the Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and work on contract remediation Participate to the review of the data management processes to ensure that processes are efficient, operational and compliant with the operating standards at PMI.
