2019-12-31Mittleres Management / Senior Management- Lead and develop a high-calibre sales & marketing team responsible for selling, promoting and marketing the full range of power semiconductor products worldwide
- Pursue and follow up potential leads, assess enquiries (including risks), define effective sales strategies, prepare quotations in response to RFQs/tenders and present proposals to customers
- Conduct negotiations at a commercial level and secure order intake with budgeted revenue and gross/net margins, in addition to analysing orders and managing hand-over processes within the company
- Provide expertise and sales funnel execution not only for the allocated internal and external sales channels but as well to the ABB worldwide cross-functional sales organizations
- Support the process of drawing up annual budgets and monthly forecasts for allocated markets and customers
- Prepare, implement and monitor sales action plans for key accounts and new leads
- Monitor and analyse customers markets and developments and work in close cooperation with product management to ensure a product/system portfolio tailored to current and future customer requirements
- Contribute to ABB semiconductors market strategy development process and drive customer-based key strategies to contribute for sustainable growth
- More than 15 years experience in the semiconductor industry or direct application market
- Relevant technical university degree
- Proven track record in sales & marketing
- Well-developed leadership, negotiating and organisational skills as well as proven track record in sales contracting
- Solid understanding of contractual agreements as well as the ability to estimate technical and commercial risks
- Fluent command of English; German is an advantage, additional language skills are welcome
- Experienced in working in an international environment with good communication skills and intercultural sensitivity, including Asia
- Readiness to travel internationally
