Financial Analyst - Headquarter Consolidation

As Financial Analyst you are responsible, along with peer team members, for executing the monthly financial consolidation of Diagnostic Financial Statements in the Diagnostic Information System (DIS), used for management reporting and for input into the Roche Group financial statements. They own and process the eliminations for Unrealized profit in inventory (UPI), Unrealized profit in equipment (UPE), and Intercompany profit elimination in Cogs (IPE).


Your main responsibilities will be:



  • insuring the accuracy of the elements of the financial statements

  • preparing proper ICFR and KPMG documentation and following up with Roche Diagnostic affiliates

  • responsibility for the accuracy of master data in DIS, including standard manufacturing costs and sales quantity reporting

  • coordination of the DIS tool and delivery of training into the entire Diagnostic community (can include international travel 1 or 2 times per year)

  • Continuous improvement on training content and material and updating the Dia Manual documentation and guidance

  • checking and support of the planning processes: accuracy checks, analysis, and follow-ups with Roche affiliates

  • adhoc support of the controllers, Group Finance, or leadership members and project support


For this position you will bring the following qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent education

  • Professional with 2-5 year of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably with consolidation experience

  • Good written and verbal communicator

  • Proficiency in English and strong Excel-Skills

  • Process-driven with the Ability to distinguish when detail is needed and when not

  • Curious and analytical approach to allow continuous accuracy and process improvements

  • Agile and inclusive mindset
