Joining the TUI Destination Experiences Finance Team as a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in TUI DX projects as well as the operating business, thereby being in charge for designing and overhauling processes that ensure complete and correct recording of all TUI Service AG business transactions in the TUI Service AG financial records. 


In addition, you will act as the main interface between TUI Service AG’s main business – the HR/Payroll Department. In this important role, you will analyze, explain and report all Payroll data and related financially relevant questions. Reporting to the Finance Director you will further be in charge for defined areas of monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as ad-hoc analysis’.

What You Will Be Doing



  • You will be responsible for building successful international relationships inside and outside of TUI Service AG



  • You will liaise with the HR/Payroll Team of TUI Service AG, thereby supporting financial tasks in numerous ongoing projects as well as new ones



  • You will review existing processes and develop new ones in the light of TUI DX projects and changes and improve payroll data reliability



  • You will support the accounting team in the daily business with a focus mainly on general ledger accounting and the monthly closing process



  • You will work closely with the TUI Service AG Management and depending on the project with many other stakeholders in TUI DX



  • You will review the current finance processes and support changes that lead to a more efficient day to day business



  • You will also be responsible for the preparation of materials for Divisional reporting, preparation and co-ordination of audit deliverables - including the review of deferrals, accruals and provisions



  • You will play a key role in delivering reports to ad-hoc queries within TUI Service AG, TUI DX and TUI Group as required


What We Are Looking For



  • Educated in a relevant finance field, e.g. Bachelor in Accounting, Controlling or Audit



  • Excellent English and German language skills 



  • Experience in a finance department ideally in connection with payroll; however, sound understanding of sub-system feeds into financial systems is a must



  • System knowledge in SAP or another accounting/payroll system



  • Strong Excel skills



  • Ability to think and work analytically, including strong problem solving skills



  • A reliable person that is independently able to plan tasks, committing to due dates and keeping them



  • Self-starter and ability to work with ambiguity



  • Self-motivated, flexible and strong personal development drive with focus on achieving key deliverables
