For our Commercial Division we, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), are seeking an entrepreneurial and flexible
Director of Media Rights and Content Services
Your duties
Media Rights:

- Optimise FIFA’s reach and revenue objectives to deliver record-breaking results through the commercialisation of media rights to all FIFA events, including FIFA’s audiovisual archive
- Develop and lead media rights sales process for all FIFA events from commercial concept development to contract finalization with media rights licensees utilising dedicated in-house sales team (and agency relationships, where relevant)
- Actively develop all FIFA events to identify new commercial opportunities and deliver commercially-oriented outcomes for FIFA and its partners
- Establish outstanding relationships and ensure quality of commercial rights delivery through best practice approach provided by dedicated in-house broadcaster servicing team

Content Services:

- Advance all aspects of media services production and post-production processes and ensure high quality implementation at all FIFA events: developing and delivering a world-class TV operations and host broadcast production concept
- Responsible for FIFA Films productions and associated commercial audiovisual products for direct exploitation and as provided to media rights licensees
- Primary TV/Media Rights liaison with external stakeholders (e.g. Local Organising Committees) relating to the delivery of related infrastructure to underpin FIFA events

Organisation:

- Manage a department of more than 30 individuals (5 direct reports) and further inter-divisional relations
- Fulfil budgeting and controlling responsibility
Our requirements
- University degree or similar higher education
- 8 – 10 years’ executive line management experience in international TV operations (sales, servicing, production)
- Proven track record in sport event TV production and distribution, combined with solid understanding of legal aspects relating to rights licensing
- Good knowledge of digital platforms and commercialization
Broad, international network with key persons in the sports, events and/or TV industry
- A person of vision and integrity who sets high quality standards
- Excellent knowledge of English and very good command of at least a second language (French, Spanish or German)
