We are looking for a Manager Shared IT Operations 100% to join the Bachem Global IT organization. This is a new key position in our mission to successfully advance a number of strategic digitalization initiatives.

Your Tasks

• Lead the Shared IT Operations covering global and European shared services


• Overall responsibilities for the entire lifecycle of shared IT infrastructures services including evaluation, design and operations. Main solutions within your responsible area are: Enterprise Network, On-Premise and cloud based Server and Storage, Electronic Workplace and mobile devices.


• Manage a team of 4 engineers within your team and a number of external partners


• Consultation, design and operation of industry specific IT infrastructure solutions in our production and laboratory environment


• Negotiate, define and fulfil Service Level Agreements towards internal customers


• Manage selected IT infrastructure projects


• Evaluation and implement of new technologies


• Ensure GMP compliance within your area of responsibility, including adequate


• Documentation of solutions and processes

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree in information technology, computer science or comparable education


• 3-5 years team or project management position within an international IT environment


• Deep knowledge of at least 3 of the following technical areas:

• Good knowledge of ITIL


• Willingness to assume responsibility for business critical environments


• Language skills: fluent German and English spoken and written
