CSC LC Sr. Process Specialist (m/f)

Responsibilities

• Project engineer for application projects related to Laser Cladding


• Coordination and implementation of technical laser cladded related project


• Operation of Laser Cladding EQ from drawings/programming to machine processing


• Practical realisation and monitoring of Laser Cladding projects

Technical Tasks

Operational:

• Support of Laser Cladding team by different customer and R&D projects


• Support projects managers in project planning related to Laser Cladding projects


• Maximizing quality regarding project execution and technical documentation


• Samples investigation (metallog.+mechanical) in cooperation with Lab (external /internal)


• Lab data results and run data analysis, compile final reports and make recommendations


• Process improvement


• Laser cladding parameters and products suggestions for improvement tech. inputs


• Support by small-serie parts production by operating and managing the laser cladding machine

Projects & support:

• Technical interface for customers, data gathering for project and campaigns


• Communication with team leader and technology leader on laser related topic; support by customer communication


• Fast feedback for any request


• Single customer projects managing - Delivery to Promise


• Planning, coordination and execution of trials, diagnostics, materials, coating evaluations with team members, internal resources, and / or external laboratories and institutes.


• Analyses lab results and compiles reports and charts for test results and analysis and makes recommendations for further development activities

R&D

• Support by testing, evaluation and process parameters studies for new and excisting portfolio materails


• Implementation of application projects in coordination with laser cladding team

We expect

• Several years experiences in topic of welding and hardfacing


• 1+ year of related technical training (sum of training activities)


• Experience in developing laser/welding related coating processes


• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents


• General experiences in CAD


• Good computer skills


• Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally


• Technical understanding of laser cladding market and products would be an advantage


• Ability to understand and optimize/standardize complex system product portfolio


• Ability to master complex tasks, problems and objectives


• Ability to develop high credibility with various departments


• Active learning and self-development


• Fluent in German and English
