Your Responsibilities:
As a Key Account Manager Ellipta (Canton Zürich and Eastern Switzerland), you will have responsibility to promote and drive successful sales uptake and profitability through Key Account Management and competitive selling of our portfolio value proposition to secondary care customers in the region (hospital and retail market).
Development and leadership of local key account plans that result in creating and/or maintaining optimal market access of GSK Respiratory medicines.

These responsibilities include some of the following:

You will be a local product expert to the specialist segment and seek information from customers to understand their needs. You will be carrying out sales calls and hit selling targets by using customer approaches that best position GSK products and ensure close cooperation with key customers. This requires daily customer facing activities in line with our strategies and values and our patient focussed sales model. You will have responsibility for our asthma and COPD Ellipta portfolio in Zürich and the Eastern part of Switzerland.

The KAM Ellipta will create and execute business and account plans in line with activity goals and strategies to deliver sales growth in cross-functional collaboration with medical, sales and marketing colleagues. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business. You will continuously monitor the business environment in the district (customers, competitors, others) and take appropriate actions. Close cooperation with our Medical department and the Primary Care line will drive best in class performance in your region.


Why You?

Basic qualifications:
• University degree (Bachelor or Master level) in relevant field (Science, Medical or Commercial) or equivalent para-medical education
• Sales experience preferably within the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare industry, applicants with background from other areas will be considered
• Ability to discuss scientific and medical data with external and internal stakeholders, strong presentation skills (German and English)
• Experience in project management and business context understanding
• Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate several areas of own and team work to meet relevant goals
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Fluent in German and professional written and verbal communication skills in English, French is a plus
• Good planning and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Results oriented and Entrepreneurial, “can do” attitude,
• Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills
• Drivers licence
