For our client, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, we are currently looking for an experienced
Data Scientist (m/f).

Data Scientist (m/f) - 100% - Basel

Your challenges

•You will analyze and integrate data from mobile medical equipment, huge multivariate clinical data sets and real-world data (such as medical claims) and using state of the art analysis techniques to improve how we extract medically important information from this wealth of data

•You will focus on Digital Health (wearables, ambient monitors, etc.) for device assessment, implementation into company clinical studies, as well as validation

•Your tasks will include evaluating and developing performance of published and new algorithms on clinical datasets, establishing software frameworks for sufficient and effective data exploration, including visualization, joint development and sharing of best coding and analysis practices within the team

•You will be responsible for writing and execution of analysis plans

•You will work on scientific publication of results

•You will fully focus on your tasks and you will work with determined timelines

Your skills

•MSc. with at least 3 years of experience or PhD in in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology and Statistics, Computational Physics/Chemistry/Biology)

•Familiarity with
Python is needed

•Strong understanding of
R or Matlab

•Knowledge of applied statistics is a plus

•Practical experience in medical field or analysis of human behavior is an advantage

•You have the ability to work under time pressure
