Director Controlling Development


Ort: Zurich area




Referenznummer: R-27987An attractive work place at your Consumer Goods Business (CGB) and Finance and Administration (F&A) Headquarters with about 500 employees. As a Director Controlling Development you are the dedicated global process owner for the Report-to-Decision (RTD) process, defining global standards, methodologies, tools and processes along the Controlling Cycle, managing process performance and continuous improvement based on stakeholder needs, developments and best practices. In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Controlling.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT


Your main duties will be the following:



  • Consolidate, validate and challenge all requirements for financial planning and reporting

  • Understand, define and continuously improve the Controlling process (RTD)

  • Define globally steering model (process, methodology, tools, systems, data quality & governance) to operationalize content defined by key value drivers

  • Define performance reporting and planning framework, methodologies, procedures and global standards

  • Permanently review the operating model (right sourcing, standardization, automation, etc.)

  • Identify trends, opportunities, industry best practices and continuous improvement potentials and continuously strive to standardize the process and to bundle process related activities

  • Define and establish Metrics/KPIs related to the end-to-end process

  • Regularly benchmark the end-to-end process and its elements internally and externally

  • Ensure compliance of the respective end-to-end process design with corporate strategies, policies and controls

  • Regularly review the activity distribution along the end-to-end process and define the process related Service Delivery Model

  • Define and optimize usage of end-to-end process related technology and tools


WHAT WE EXPECT


A motivated talent, who brings along the following background:



  • Master’s degree

  • Min. 5 years of experience in controlling with exposure along the entire controlling cycle (plan-report-analyze)

  • Proven track of successful project and change management in the respective end to end process area

  • Experience in working in virtual, networked international organization and ability to interact with all levels of the organization (including executiveboard)

  • Expertise in LEAN/Six Sigma methodology, tools and techniques is wishful

  • Business acumen ensuring to deliver value to the business

  • Sound problem solving and analytical skills and distinctive continuous improvement mindset

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient command of English (spoken and written)
