We're looking for someone like that who:
• plans and coordinates test activities in Finance IT
• agrees on the test scope, test strategy and test plan with all involved stakeholders
• setup and lead regular (project-related) test status calls
• tracks test related activities (testcase execution, defect resolution)
• closely collaborates with the test operations team for the day end processings
• create risk assessments on open test topics and informs about issues, risks and dependencies to the project management and the stakeholders
• prepares test progress reports for project and release manager
• manages dependencies to other application test managers and E2E test managers
Your team:
You’ll be part of the Accounting and Reporting Test Management and Test Operations team in Zürich which is responsible for the testing landscape from Integration- until Acceptance Test.
We manage the testing activities of the accounting application plus further finance projects which are related to the accounting portfolio in Switzerland, Europe, US and APAC.
A close collaboration with all involved stakeholders, such as developers, analysts but also with the business is key to properly manage all the different tasks.
Your expertise:
In particular, you have:
• very good communication skills, especially diplomatical and advocacy skills and you are comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• a test manager certificate or more than 5 years test management experience in complex IT projects
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
• experience in preparing test status reports for senior management, measure test progress
• basic knowledge of different IT Technologies (large RDBMS systems like Oracle, Linux/Unix, Web Technologies and SQL) is of advantage
• German and excellent English skills (written and oral)
