Your responsability
Underwriting of Construction risks and support in building up the company's portfolio in line with Helvetia Group's Underwriting Directives and Guidelines
Evaluating the commercial and technical aspects of the various Construction and Infrastructure risks globally and negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients
Building an extensive knowledge of Client / Broker network
Determining exposures, normal loss expectancies, maximum possible loss scenarios
Attending international client and broker meetings as well as site inspections where necessary
Close cooperation with our Claims Department for large and complex claims
Your qualification
Experience within the Construction and Infrastructure segment is a basic requirement of the position. Risk Engineers, Brokers and Client Managers would also be welcome
Experience in risk assessment and underwriting Construction risks will be a major advantage
University Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineer or equivalent) preferred
The candidate shall be fluent in English and proficient in French. Italian and any other additional language skills will be an advantage
Strong business acumen and negotiation skills and positive team orientated approach
Develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate to meet common goals
