Your role:
Do you have experience in the fascinating and dynamic world of CTF - Commodity Trade Finance? Are you familiar with assessing complex transactions across the commodity value chain as well as corporate structures?
We are looking for a credit risk officer to:
Independently evaluate and decide or provide recommendations on credit requests and annual reviews for clients of the Commodity Trade Finance segment
Professionally interact with client advisors and transaction collateral managers and discuss credit, performance and operational risks related to structured commodity financing transactions
Take responsibility for a portfolio of CTF clients with sector focus in Metals, Coal and Petrochemicals
Participate in client and due diligence meetings which might require to travel outside of Switzerland from time to time
Your team:
You will be working in the Credit Risk Control team in Zurich and play a vital role in independently on-boarding, reviewing and controlling credit risks within the Corporate Banking’s Commodity Trade Finance loan book. As a credit risk officer, you will serve as second line of defense and challenge all credit and transactional risks associated to your assigned Commodity Trade Finance client portfolio.

Your expertise:
• Higher education or university degree in economics (e.g. University, FH, HF or Banking)
• Practical experience in international trade finance and in the credit business, preferably in international corporate credit risk management
• Subject-matter expertise within CTF and in-depth knowledge of financing techniques across the commodity value chain
• 3-5+ years' experience within organizations who have an acknowledged presence in the CTF business
• Willingness to travel to business origination location, client offices and cross-border for due diligence
Willingness to continuously develop in a dynamic surrounding
Excellent analytic and communicative skills
Good knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent English skills, knowledge of German and/or French is beneficial
