For our international partner, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Senior HW Engineer 100% (m/f/d).

Main Tasks

• You develop liquid handling solutions from concept to detailed design considering costs, reliability, tolerance calculations, manufacturing aspects and serviceability


• You work in close collaboration with other disciplines like electronics and fluid dynamics and integrate their concepts and designs


• You are responsible for the component (pumps, valves, probes, etc.) evaluation for liquid handling solutions considering cost and lifetime aspects


• You translate functional, performance, regulatory, manufacturing and service requirements into design and review your solutions with the corresponding stakeholders


• You define and control interfaces with other system elements


• You define and maintain 3D CAD models including detailed drawings of individual parts

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master of Science or PhD in mechanical engineering


• You are experienced in product development from concept to detailed design


• You know how to integrate different components from different disciplines into a design


• You have good communication skills to interact with different stakeholders (service, manufacturing, etc.)


• Teamplayer


• Highly capable of working independently


• As a plus you are experienced in the field of liquid handling solution development


• German - Proficient / English - Good


• IT Skills: CAD (preferable Catia V5 or Solidworks), SAP basics, Microsoft Office
