PR Director

Main Responsibilities:



  • Crafting and executing the global PR strategy in cooperation with external agencies

  • Planning, budgeting, controlling and executing all PR campaigns for WayRay as well as its Founder & CEO

  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with media, bloggers and influential professionals in general

  • Maximizing WayRay brand presence in print, digital and TV media

  • Updating WayRay Founder & CEO on a regular basis

  • Cooperating with the Design, Creative and Product Management teams to build and implement an annual PR content calendar 

  • Setting goals and monitor KPIs and ROAS for all PR campaigns

  • Developing and nurturing media contacts



Requirements:



  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role (PR Director/Head of PR/VP of Communications, etc.) in multinational consumer electronics or automotive corporations, at headquarters' level

  • Marketing/Communications/Journalism university degree

  • Solid experience in planning and coordinating successful PR campaigns

  • Previous experience in managing global PR agencies (defining contracts, setting up goals, following up, evaluating results, taking corrective actions) 

  • Strong understanding of the current market environment, latest trends, and technologies

  • Fluency in English at a professional level, experienced public speaker

  • Willingness to travel
