Senior Manager, DPS Asset Management

As part of the
Global DPS Asset Management Team, the
Sr. Manager will act as a leader to advance the E2E data analytics and performance management platform for DPS Asset Management, drive the deployment and standardization of the E2E DPS Processes as well as shape and implement improvement initiatives in alignment with Franchise and Supply Chain stakeholders in order to improve overall service delivery and drive profitable growth for the Franchise.

Location: preferred location Zug (Switzerland), any other major MD location in EMEA will be considered

Principal responsibilities:


Leadership:

  • Connect with Global counterparts to ensure alignment on priorities and consistency across regions.

  • Connect and engage in transparent discussions with local affiliates, regional stakeholders across SC, plan and Commercial.

  • Regularly communicates with all relevant partners on plans, progress, changes and opportunities.

  • Prioritizes and runs multiple complex tasks and projects


Execution


Process Excellence

  • Lead the development, validation and gap assessment of the E2E DPS process taxonomy

  • Assess, critique, amend, improve and (re-)define applicable business processes in partnership with relevant business and SC partners and customers

  • Facilitate and provide necessary expertise and (project) support in the space of business process re-engineering, process mapping, scenario planning, deployment and implementation and change management

  • Identify inefficiencies in the processes and sub-processes and make improvement recommendations.

  • Develops and drives continuous improvements initiatives with the local/regional cross functional business teams.

  • Support E2E Supply Chain to build the right project pipeline through deep dive analytics.

  • Drives knowledge transfer across discipline/business partners. Proactive problem identification and solution development to a variety of problems of broad scope and complexity, referring to policies and practices for guidance.

  • Contribute to the DPS Asset Management tools, practices and knowledge base


Project Management



  • Drives the prioritization and definition of the key projects to impact key improvement opportunities

  • Brings together and/or leads cross functional teams in analyzing key issues and developing and aligning on recommendations and actions (i.e. define scope, FPOs, milestones, risks & mitigations).

  • Utilizes project management tools to deliver results on-time and provide timely updates to management and enhance focused collaboration Supply Chain, Commercial and Franchise business partners driving alignment on agreed initiatives


Analytics and Integrated Business Intelligence



  • Drives alignment on the priorities in data analytics and the development supporting tools

  • Advances the definition of aligned and consistent metrics & standards to improve E2E SC performance

  • Develops, enhances, expands and maintains the data analytics platform

  • Communicates key insights and areas for improvement to regional management, users and stakeholders.

  • Improves the data analytics capability, handles the roadmap and develops and implements the plan to drive adoption and usage of the capability.

  • Presentation of key insights to enable management to make strategic decisions; i.e., creation of an executive summary and concepts to analyze/drive process improvements as appropriate.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations) is required.

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience is required.

  • Experience working in complex, highly matrix, virtual, organization where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required.

  • Fluent in English (Written and spoken), multi-language skills are preferred

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work independently, handle complexity and take ownership for deliverables

  • Numerate and IT literate (i.e. all MS Office applications)

  • Skilled in Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau preferred

  • Knowledge in Data Analytics software preferred

  • Knowledge of ERP (JDE, ERP), WMS & TMS applications preferred
