Head of Customer Service - Service Sales and Network Development

Liebherr-Components AG, located in Nussbaumen in Switzerland, as a trading company is responsible for the worldwide sales of components and system solutions of the Liebherr group of companies in the areas of mechanical, hydraulic and electric drive and control technology.


 


 


 


Responsibilities


 



  • Managing the Customer Service Department of Liebherr`s Business Unit Combustion Engines including the responsibility for Spare Parts Business, Spare Parts Logistics, Network development and external Account Management

  • Personnel Responsibility for all employees in the mentioned areas of the customer service department

  • Budget, Inventory and P&L Responsibility for the Customer Service of Liebherr`s BU Combustion Engines

  • Develop and implement the customer service strategy  together with the Sales Approach for our different Off-Highway-Applications

  • Build-up and Managing the Service Product Portfolio with remanufactured engines & components, maintenance contracts, repairs, consumables and further service solutions

  • Build-up a global customer service and partner network with regards to our application strategy and end customer markets

  • Manage the global service partner network by suitable contracts, key performance indicators, audits and other managing tools.

  • Secure quality and parts availability of Global Parts Storage Centers, Service Support Centers and Workshops

  • Define and negotiate maintenance contracts in coordination with service operations and legal

  • Manage the customer service accounts for all customer projects prior to serial product introduction


 


Competencies


 



  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in the customer service business for Off-highway engines

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experiences in Off-Highway engines business

  • Deep Market and Customer knowledge of the Off-Highway-Applications Power Generation, Mining, Railway, Oil & Gas and Marine

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience combustion engines

  • Business Administration knowledge in costing and calculation

  • Basic knowledge in contract management and legal topics

  • Excellent skills in English language, Basic skills in German and/or French language

  • High level of intercultural competencies, professional experiences in different countries

  • Extraordinary customer orientation and centricity, flexibility and engagement

  • Confidence and persuasiveness in the contact with our customers
