To complete/reinforce our Finance Shared services team, we are looking for a highly committed and motivated Senior Accountant.


Main Responsibilities:


This position will partner with various stakeholders and be involved into improvement projects.



  • Prepare, control and post of various day-to-day and month-end accounting activities (accruals, clearings, revaluations, etc.)

  • Fixed Assets activities depending of tasks allocation between 12 legal entities (6 Swiss entities and 6 German entities)

  • Cash & Bank activities

  • SOX compliance controls (e.g. balance sheet reconciliations)

  • Support on internal and external audits

  • Support on tax and legal accounting and reporting

  • Financial forecasting for legal and management reporting for specific areas like cash flow, equity clearing etc.

  • Involvement in improvement projects


Qualifikation


Who we are looking for:



  • University / bachelor's degree or Equivalent or completed KV with further education

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting

  • Accounting experience in Germany is an asset

  • SAP (FI/CO) and DATEV knowledge preferable

  • Proficiency in basic MS Office applications specially Excel

  • Stress resistance, flexibility and sense of priority to handle tasks and deadlines

  • Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, French would be an advantage


This role based in Solothurn, Switzerland will initially be limited to approx. 12 months, with an option for extension or permanent contract.
