For our international partner, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a qualified and motivated IT Solution Engineer 100% (m/f/d).

Main Tasks

• Ensure that business functions are equipped with Information Technology solutions that support their current and future needs


• Ability to understand the details of complex business processes and use technical expertise to identify, evaluate and drive the implementation of technology solutions


• Ability to take on demanding business and technical challenges and see them through from concept to completion


• Consistently delivers IT solutions on time, on budget and that meet business needs


• Aligns delivery of IT services and appropriate service levels through relationships with Global, Regional, Local, and External service providers


• Collaborates with global, regional, and local IT functions to identify business problems and opportunities, evaluate alternative IT technologies and research industry best practices and emerging trends


• Responsible for delivering of requirements and act as a liaison between the business and development team


• Ensures that the business needs are met and where necessary assist the business with the successful implementation of the solution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS or related field


• About 5 years industry experience in a comparable role


• Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals


• Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational


• Ability to work independently and with others


• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills


• Strong Project Management skills a deep understanding of their assigned business area, including business processes, challenges, information flows and supporting IT systems business function


• Ability to demonstrate a complement of skills that contribute to and lead the requirements gathering business processes, process and business process modeling for new information Management projects within their assigned business function


• Facilitation and negotiation skills, relationship management and change management skills


• Demonstrate enhanced listening skills as well as strong critical thinking skills


• Ability to communicate effectively English and German (written and oral)


• Knowledge of IT infrastructure (client hardware, network, storage, DB), IT applications and interface design


• Strong sense of ownership of assigned tasks and will have a proven track record of delivery on commitment


• Ability to pick up new challenges and educate themselves on the core issues in a very short time
