Product Engineer / Power Quality

To strengthen our team at the office in Luterbach (Switzerland) we are looking for a/an

Product Engineer / Power Quality

Your tasks

• Support product management with the implementation of products roadmap and life cycle maintenance


• Identify and investigate new technologies and product improvements (e.g. design, component sourcing, cost-down potential, new features)


• Support the development and implementation of new products and processes


• Create and maintain technical documentation (i.e. product catalog, data-sheets, installation guidelines, etc.)


• Work closely with product managers, R&D, purchasing and production to ensure resolution of technical issues


• Assess the costs of technical designs and used equipment and ensure that technical specifications, target costs project deadlines are fulfilled


• Plan, coordinate and follow-up the product releases according to the roadmap


• Coordinate and lead special tasks assigned by the Product Management (i.e. trainings, product launches etc.)


• Act as technical coordinator for different internal and external stakeholders


• Provide 3rd and 4th level support for technical issues

Your profile

• BSc degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline (electrical engineering, power electronics)


• First professional experiences preferably in motor drives, power electronics, power quality or electrical engineering


• Experience and interest in project management and product development


• Creative, innovative mind combined with analytical thinking and attention to detail


• Autonomous and proactive personality with strong communication skills and quality-oriented mindset


• Team player with intercultural sensitivity and ability to share best practices


• International work experience is an asset


• Very good oral and written communication skills in both German and English


• Willingness to travel within Europe and intercontinentally (ca. 20%)
