We are currently looking for a motivated and passionate colleague to join our Food & Beverage Industry team our office in Zurich Seefeld. As an inspiring and energetic team leader, you will be part of the Local Business Unit team and operationally be responsible for the Business Line Food & Beverage in Switzerland.
Job responsibilities
Overall budget responsibility for the local Business Line Food & Beverage Industry
Lead and develop a team of five direct reports (Sales Manager and Sales Support)
Represent the Business Line in the local management team
Define and implement the local Business Line strategy, i.e. manage and develop the supplier and customer base, manage the product portfolio and generate new business opportunities
Direct sales responsibility as Sales Manager for the business cluster ‘Confectionery and Bakery’, incl. management of existing as well as acquire and develop new customers (up to 50% travelling)
Build and maintain relationship with suppliers based in Europe and Asia through joint visits and regular reporting to support mutual growth
Prepare forecasts, market reports as well as regular competitor and market surveys
Update and maintain projects and compile meeting reports in our CRM system (Salesforce)
Job requirements
Degree or professional qualification in food technology and/or nutrition science
Minimum five years relevant work experience, in a similar role in the food & beverage industry, including leading sales teams
Conceptual skills combined with hands on attitude in the day to day running of the business
Entrepreneurial spirit with a variety of sales, negotiation and persuasion skills
Winning personality with strong level of perseverance
Good knowledge of MS Office, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written language skills in German, English; French as an advantage
