For our customer, the international market leader and independent provider of IT services, we are looking for a Desktop Engineer (Bern/Zurich).

Desktop Engineer

Your challenges

­•Create a concept for the parallel operation of WIN10 and implement necessary changes to WIN10.

•Design and implementation UE-V

•Create Win10 image and deployment configuration

•Analysis and design of security features

•Parallel operation in the migration phase with dependencies to AD/OU/GPO, SCCM

•Troubleshoot production support issues after deployment and recommend solutions as needed

Your skills

Ideally, you have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent education. Experience in banking or finance is an advantage.



You also have experience in the following areas:

•Several years of experience with MS Windows Server and MS Exchange products as well as experience in the installation, configuration, automation and administration of Windows operating systems (7, 8 and/or 10).

•Experience in troubleshooting and enabling configuration management with Group Policy Objects (GPO)

•Knowledge of scripting technologies such as VBScript, PowerShell or AutoIT Script

­•Profound experience with Client Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Symantec) with application packaging, asset reporting and patch management

­•Experience in desktop virtualization (e.g. VMware View, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft RDS) and application virtualization (e.g. VMware ThinApp, Citrix XenApp, MS App-V)

•Basic knowledge of German
