Mission description:
▪ Sygma is participating to the construction of a new Hydropower plant in
Switzerland near to Chamonix in the Mont Blanc Mountain chains. We are
looking for an experimented and qualified Turbine Supervisor, who will be
part of the construction team for the rotative equipment.
The Supervisor will be in charge of monitoring and controlling activities
associated with the construction of the Turbine and its plant equipment,
such as turbines, pumps, valves, gates, fans, electric control boards, and
battery banks. Monitor equipment operation and performance and make
necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
▪ Supervise the activities of assigned personal in Hydro Turbine Section,
performing supervisory functions at the level established by management.
▪ Ensure safe working methods are implemented and adopted.
▪ Identify the resources required such as manpower, tools, consumables etc.
according to the Site Planning.
▪ Review EHS requirements and guide the team to ensure every individual are
followed by them.
▪ Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and
directing the work of subordinate employees.
▪ Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed
work assignments and work techniques.
▪ Guide and execute the activities for timely delivery with quality and safety.
▪ Ensure that work reports are processed and documented. Issue file notes to
document any event or incidents.
▪ Provide structure feedback with experiences and lessons learned in the
duration of every assembly or installation.
Candidates Requirements:
▪ Technician or Engineer degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
▪ At least 5 years experience in Hydro field
▪ European community resident.
▪ Suitable technical qualification.
▪ Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
▪ Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
▪ Good people management and supervisor skills.
