For our customer, a leading specialty chemicals company with subsidiaries in more than 100 countries worldwide and production facilities in over 200 factories, we are exclusively mandated to find a new key employee as the Business-IT Architect located in Zurich who will be accountable for proactively and holistically leading and negotiating the global IT-Architectural activities for our customer.

Senior Business-IT Architect HIP (w/m)

Main objectives of the position

• Planning and implementation of new tools, frameworks and patterns to build a hybrid integration platform (HIP).


• Guiding the development and implementation of architectures, strategies, policies, standards and best practices to ensure interoperability within and outside our client's environments.


• Work with the appropriate internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of high quality, profitable business proposals and projects.

Description

Work with stakeholders at different levels of the enterprise, both global business and IT, to understand the architecture requirements and translate them into a coordinated hybrid integration platform (HIP).
Provide key inputs for assessing technology stacks and recommending technology options for integrating enterprise applications.
Work closely with clients' different departments to understand their business, functional, technical and implementation requirements.

Your ideal profile

• University degree or equivalent and/or professional experience in computer science, software engineering or similar, preferably with experience in a global environment.


• Comprehensive and sound experience in Enterprise Application Architecture with sound technical knowledge in various areas (application, middleware, integration, databases, UI cloud, analytics, etc.).


• Demonstrate an understanding of cloud and hybrid integration and a broad understanding of the skills that enable these architectures.


• Ideally expertise in SAP (ideally Hybris integration) and Mulesoft, Microsoft Azure, DellBoomi or Jitterbit integration products, functions and services. Experience in SAP PI / PO and Adobe Platform is also an additional advantage.


• Excellent knowledge of English, other languages, German or Spanish is an advantage.


• Leadership skills and good judgment based on experience, analytical skills and expertise; decisive and pragmatic. Collaborative working style, familiarity with agile development methods.
