Key Responsibilities
Design and implement new front-end functionalities using technologies such as Typescript, Angular 5, HTML5, Sass, Angular JS, Webpack and others
Mentor junior developers, maintain standards and performance and assist to evolve the development practices and processes
Manage a team of 5 to 6 developers
Take ownership and responsibility for changes that go through multiple tiers from the browser/webkit through to the back-end and services by collaborating with other developers
Ensure that both code and development practices conform to industry best practice
Collaborate and engage with business partners to improve the User Experience for UIs
Keeping Pace with the industry on new technologies, platforms and development practices
Driving forward the technical roadmap by collaborating with Development leads and architects
Working on an application with a wide array of features that are continuously evolving
Working on a large but modularized application that is responsive and hybrid (iOS, Android, browser)
You Offer
You have University degree or certificate in higher education
You are a solid frontend developer with demonstrable solid technical delivery and leadership capabilities
Experience with HTML5, AngularJS, Angular 2+, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript with focus on performance, responsiveness and component based design
Experience with Automated Testing Tools (e.g Selenium, Appium)
You have experience with developing and working with RESTful APIs
Experience facing off to both technical and non-technical business partners
Experience of leading small team of developers and meticulous attention to detail
Obsession with clean coding practices while building scalable, maintainable and performant code
An affinity for innovation and digitalization ideally demonstrated with successful implementations
Good communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate at all levels across business units and internationally
Proven analytical and conceptual skills, structured and result-driven way of working, and ability to get things done in an operating environment
You have an ambitious, solution oriented, and service driven approach
You are fluent in English (oral and written), German and further languages are a huge plus
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Agile product development and business-side IT project experience a plus
Experience in Online and Mobile Banking is definitely a plus
Experience with the J2EE, Spring will be great advantage
