We are searching for an experienced servant leader to join our R&D team as a Program Manager. In this role, you would be the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for an Agile Release Train (ART) focused on developing innovative cloud-based software services. You would be responsible for guiding the ART to the successful delivery of value in a large and complex environment. Additionally, you would be the management representative responsible for the agile program with respect to the handling of contracts and the resources necessary for the success of the ART.

 

Your new responsibilities



  • Facilitating agile ceremonies such as PI planning / "Inspect and Adapt" workshops

  • Facilitating periodic synchronization meetings, including the Scrum of Scrum / ART synchronization at program level

  • Collaborating with product and portfolio management, product owners, software architects and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

  • Tracking and reporting of ART KPI metrics and partnering with teams to develop and implement improvement plans as necessary

  • Assisting the teams in identifying and removing blockers and acting as the escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved within the ART

  • Being an internal advocate for Lean and Agile / SAFe principles

  • Purchase order management and coordination with external suppliers

  • Budget management and forecasting for all resources required for the ART

 

Your skills and experience



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field

  • 3 to 5 years as Release Train Engineer or R&D Project Lead or R&D Program Manager in an agile environment, preferably in a B2B industry at headquarters level

  • HVAC knowledge would be an advantage

  • Strong technical background and experience in leading teams to produce high quality software

  • Ability to lead by influence in an environment with different stakeholders and partners

  • Ability and passion to deliver customer value

  • Experience in a large, multi-cultural, international environment and working with distributed teams

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of German would be desirable
