Roche Diagnostics has embarked on a digital transformation journey to become a leader in digital diagnostics. This use-case led transformation is addressing topics across the entire value chain, including business and operating models for digital products, solutions and initiatives. 

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) has been set up to drive, coordinate or support many aspects of the digital transformation across the Division. 

The position

As Senior Digital Transformation Manager, you will drive initiatives that are crucial for the success of Roche Diagnostics’ Digital Transformation with a primary focus on the refinement of our digital operating model. You will be leading the efforts across the organisation to review and change existing processes and organisational structures related to our digital activities as well as driving the implementation of the required adaptations that will allow us to realise our ambition to become a Leader in Digital Diagnostics. With your curiosity and passion, you will contribute to various change initiatives in an agile way. You will be a member of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) and will drive these changes by leading cross-functional teams with members from Global Functions, Business Areas and Regions/Affiliates. In this role, you will obtain broad visibility and exposure across various areas of Roche Diagnostics and you will be making an impactful contribution to the transformation of the company.

Main job accountabilities

• Drive the review of the Roche Diagnostics operating model, including current processes and organisational principles related to our digital activities


• Implement required changes, in the context of the Digital Transformation, by leading the relevant teams and activities across the company


• Work with senior management to drive the decisions required for the adaptation of the operating model

Requirements

• Experience leading global projects or teams


• Experience in a Digital Transformation or other global change management efforts, i.e. refinement of digital operating models


• Consulting experience and/or 8-10 years in a strategic/change management leadership role


• Proficiency and proven track record to work with senior leaders


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Hands-on, self-driven and strongly collaborative mindset


• Entrepreneurial and strategic thought leadership


• Perseverance to drive decisions during a period of change


• Ability to handle ambiguity and to manage organisational complexity


• Solution-focused thinking, ability to take decisions quickly


• Proficiency in English


• Ability to travel (10-25%)

Competencies

• Prior experience and track record of successfully communicating and interacting with senior executives


• Deep understanding of operating models and agile process design


• Strong collaborative team player


• Highly result oriented personality with proven ability to work against ambitious timelines
