We are looking for a Group Leader Custom Synthesis Sales 100%.


 


Your Tasks



  • Lead the custom synthesis sales team and accomplish sales objectives

  • Develope and maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities, address customer inquiries, follow up with customers and close the sales together with the team

  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships and manage accounts

  • Devise sales campaigns for the group to exploit leads or market trends

  • Manage and develop the custom synthesis sales team and ensure a high professional standard

  • Oversee and monitor the team’s performance, i.e. achievement of sales targets and KPIs

  • Provide sales reports and define actions for the team based on the findings

  • Actively communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer expectations and are met

  • Attend scientific meetings, conferences and customer visits as required


 


Your Profile



  • Master’s or PhD Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or Life Sciences

  • 3-5 years sales experience in the Chemistry or Life Science industry

  • Positive but determined attitude and the ability to communicate in a proactive and solution-focused manner

  • Ability to work independently as an individual and inter-dependently as a team player with a multicultural/multinational team

  • Ability to travel to tradeshows and customer visits as required (less than 20%)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Very good English skill (fluent), German desirable

  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Programs)

  • Salesforce and SAP-Basic knowledge
