Reporting to the Head of Global Business Process Management (GBPM) Internal Controls, this position supports the vision of having standardized, harmonized and automated processes in the field of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), which includes Segregation of Duties (SoD), across the Roche Group, in order to minimize the risk of audit/review issues at the affiliates.


In detail, the position:



  • Supports the further development of effective and efficient standard controls for ICFR

  • Supports the identification of control automation potentials and, once solutions have been developed, the implementation of the resulting automated controls in the respective systems

  • Supports ICFR stakeholders, which include other BPM organizations, the SSCs and affiliates, in case of questions related to ICFR and provides timely answers and solutions

  • Regularly liaises with other BPM areas, in particular Transactional Finance and Automation & Artificial Intelligence, in order to align ICFR controls to the general End-to-End Processes, which includes the cooperation in defining standard controls in any global ERP projects

  • Escalates quality issues related to ICFR automated controls and contributes to the improvement of the quality

  • In general, fosters continuous improvement in the area of ICFR with a questioning mind and leveraging them to any local processes and controls


Requirements:



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Informatics or similar education

  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years


Special requirements:



  • Experience in Finance/Accounting, Business Process Management and/or Risk/Internal Control Management, with advanced knowledge of common End-to-End Finance Processes

  • Experience in working with and influencing cross cultural teams

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills

  • Organizational and project management skills, especially in matrix structures considering and balancing interests of senior stakeholders from different functions

  • Good technical skills (e.g. detailed SAP know-how, i.e. ability to analyze SAP possibilities to define standard controls, including automation requirements and potentials, experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus)

  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally (around 10%, depending on project-related support work)


The primary location of the position shall be in Rotkreuz or Kaiseraugst.
