SAP Senior Security Analyst

 

Job Summary

The SAP Security Analyst is responsible for the design, development, testing, and promotion to production of SAP security roles and authorizations with focus in governance, risk and compliance.

In addition, SAP Security Analyst provides audit support and operational support of production SAP security incidents. Function is performed working with business and/or technical analysts representing business process teams or projects, and the SAP Basis team. Responsibility encompasses sandbox, development, quality assurance, and production environments for SAP systems globally.

 

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage an offshore SAP support team


• Analyze enhancements and required modifications to identify security requirements and deliver timely SAP security role changes


• Maintain security roles for SAP systems on an ongoing basis


• Provide ongoing operational support of SAP Central User Admin


• Provides support for Incidents linked to SAP security in accordance with established Service Level Agreements


• Act as SAP Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security standards and procedures, role design, troubleshooting, and business information requests.


• Provides timely support during compliance audits by analyzing and extracting security data from SAP systems, participating in meetings with auditors and assuring evidence are captured according to auditor requirements.


• Automating administrative and operational security functions


• Providing input and feedback on security decisions regarding the SAP infrastructure and architecture


• Work with Business Owners to define security requirements. Such requirements will include user roles, authorizations designs, access control and compliance monitoring.


• Must be capable to maintain and troubleshoot complex security issues, setup issues, and process improvements while working with IT Business Analysts


• Serve as the escalation point for SAP application security events and issues


• Keep systems and applications in a validated state according to legal and corporate requirements with respect to, e.g. FDA and SOX; implement or maintain appropriate policies and procedures

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an expert in the SAP security


• Very good knowledge in design, implementation, and administration across all areas of SAP (ECC, BW, HR and Portal)


• SAP specific technical training is a must


• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Business Administration or a related field


• Ability to work in multi-cultural environments


• Customer-oriented, driven, enthusiastic can-do attitude and ready to learn


• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German is an asset


• Candidates must be able to meet Swiss work permit requirements and employment is subject to work permit approvals

Travel Requirements:

Up to 20%.
