For our international partner, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d).

Tätigkeiten

As part of our instrument software development team, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to create a new instrument software and automated testing environment together in a dynamic team. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Contribute to all phases of software development from feasibility studies through design, development, testing and bug fixing including software maintenance


• Influence the software architecture and take ownership of the testability and testing environment of our new instrument towards automation


• Implementing of unit and integration tests


• Collaborate closely with other teams in an interdisciplinary environment, such as usability, connectivity, cyber security, system testing and external partners


• Participate in defining work packages, their estimation, planning and implementation within the software development team


• Provide the documentation required in a regulated environment: Document your findings, elaborate software requirements and unit specifications, participate in the writing and reviewing of further documentation

Anforderungen

• Bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline


• 3+ years of experience as a test engineer and hands-on experience with multiple test tools


• Experience in C++ / Linux environment


• Quick learner with high affinity for hardware and software development. Prior software development experience is a plus


• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously


• Spoken and written English and German


• Experience with software metrics is a plus
